About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer with a strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web applications.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend systems using Laravel and Core PHP
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React, React Native)
• Optimize backend performance and scalability
• Configure and manage server-side operations
• Implement security and data protection practices
• Develop and maintain reusable PHP modules
• Conduct code reviews and maintain codebases
• Design scalable database schemas and optimize queries
• Handle real-time communication using WebSocket/WebRTC
• Work with Redis, queues, and caching tools
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience with PHP and Laravel
• Strong grasp of OOP and MVC architecture
• Solid understanding of RDBMS and database design
• Comfortable with GNU/Linux (Ubuntu, Debian)
• Experience with AWS infrastructure
• Familiar with high-traffic, scalable systems
• Knowledge of nginx, Redis, queues
• Clean and maintainable coding practices
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

🌟 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with React or Next.js
• Knowledge of WebSocket/WebRTC
• Understanding of microservices architecture
